Support Groups:
Building Connection, Healing, and Hope
ANNUAL REPORT 2025
Support groups are a vital part of the healing journey, offering survivors a safe space to
share their experiences, reduce isolation, and build meaningful connections.
At the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center, we offer a range of trauma-informed
groups, including our long-standing VOICES Survivor Group, weekly Domestic Violence
and Sexual Assault Support Groups, our Hope Hustler group for trafficking survivors, the
Holding Hope group for older adults in partnership with Adult Protective Services, and
youth groups for children and teens.
Through these groups, survivors find more than support; they find connection,
validation, and hope, and begin to understand they are not alone.
VOICES
Our VOICES Survivor Advocacy Group - our
original support group - has been meeting
monthly since the Family Justice Center first
opened. This long-standing group reflects
the heart of our mission, creating a
community where survivors are heard,
supported, and empowered.

HOLDING HOPE
We are also proud to offer Holding Hope, our
elder support group, held in partnership with
Adult Protective Services. This group provides
older adults with a safe, welcoming
environment to share experiences, reduce
isolation, and receive support tailored to the
unique challenges of elder abuse and aging.
